The only ATM and bank on the island is in Moyogalpa and it accepts visa cards only. When you take the ferry to the island and think you may be low of cash, it would be wise to stop in Moyogalpa and go to the only bank, Banpro (situated on the main road,300 m eters up from the dock on the right hand side) in order to be sure you have enough money to enjoy the island.
If you are planning to rent a car - we recommend that you hire a 4WD for the dirt roads on the island. Or for $35 a day you can rent a motorcycle in Moyogalpa.

You can hire a taxi and ask to be dropped off at our gate. Once your inside the gate follow the path up the hill past our cabins to our reception. Enjoy the views that this300 meter
walk has to offer while winding thru the forest amongst the birds. Listen for
our friendly dogs to welcome you!
A taxi will cost between US$25 - US$30 and a 1 hour drive.
You can take a bus from Moyogalpa or Altagracia to Balgue and get off right after thevillage of Santa Cruz 300 meter walk that winds
thru the forest under big beautiful cedar trees and thru the famous pelibuey
(tropical sheep) pasture.

get off at the village of Santa Cruz 350 meters from the village (towards Balgue) to
